Eligibility for HEART Grant Programs

Applicants must be in an affiliated facility for primary treatment in order to be eligible for HEART funding.

HEART assists individuals with financial need. Need is defined as: without our help, the client is unable to enter treatment, fully participate in, or complete their treatment program.

If insurance covers 65% or more of treatment costs, HEART cannot assist with remaining treatment costs. The client can still request funding for non-treatment expenses, such as sober housing.

Past recipients are not eligible for further assistance, unless an effort was made to give back to HEART through repayment (partial or full) or volunteering.

$500 funds one HEART Right Thing-Right Now Grant. Give help for critical extra expenses when individuals are in treatment. Right Thing-Right Now Grants cover expenses like dental care and other necessary medical expenses.
